Round 3 of the CORC Series this week and Cam decided he would have a race too, in the under 7's (he's 6). I was worried competition might spoil the fun of riding for him, but not at all. The kids all rode around smiling and having a great time, all in good fun. It was so cute.

I'm proud of him for stepping up and having a go, what a champ!

I had a pretty average race though, I could not get going at all, my HR at an all time low for an XC race. I think 4 weeks of heavy training for the Worlds, without a day off yet, is affecting me, just a little! Still, it was a good course, taking in Majura's fun stuff, including some of the DH course, and I had some fun on it after I got over the frustration of the mind being willing, but the body incapable :)
