Jasper

Went out for a nice gentle cruise around Jasper today, out to Maligne Canyon to check out the amazing waterfalls, and back via Annette Lake. It's a nice and flat little ride, so there's plenty of opportunities to soak up the syunning views of the moutains that dominate this valley.

The canyon is mostly walking tracks, but there are a few riding/horse tracks you are allowed to use, so we tried to stick to to those; it was amazing to see water raging through the canyon, it's not just something we get back in Oz (water)!

Over to Lake Annette, which is the most amazing blue and green, it's fed from under ground springs, not the glacial lake that is nearby, so the color is incredible, and the water is nice and warm, heated from under ground, there were plenty of people taking advantage of the warm water and swimming, I was tempted, but we pushed on, fuelled by Clif Bars (heaven!) and headed back to meet up with the girls.
