This has become somewhat of an amazing journey for me, over the last 3 years I have tried to ride various parts of this course, but never been able to do it without stopping, gasping for air like a fish out of water. After a dozen attempts over three years, I was stoked to finally make it, and get to explore the rest of Rob Roy Range.
This place has some seriously steep climbs in it, they are short, but very hard. About as steep as you can go and maintain rear wheel traction, seriously hard stuff, but if you can get past the blurred vision, blinding pain and the feeling your lungs are about to pop, this place has some of the most stellar veiws you can get this close to suburban Canberra, a stunning place, tough, but rewarding.
