Back to the fast runs of Bruce Ridge for Neil and
I...

Starting at the usual Dryandra St carpark we headed
straight North and into Oconnor Ridge, which is
completeley different terrain from the Bruce part. More open
fire trails and no trees. Easier too.

Bored of
that after 5 mins, we headed into Bruce Ridge in
search of new fast runs, it's nicer in this part as
there are walking trails with fast turns and trees to
didge. Lots more fun :)
We followed whatever trail we
found and did a couple we know are good, generally
heading West toward Belconnen.

After a couple of
kms we crossed over Barry Drive and into Black
Mountain and found what must be a favourite for high speed
downhillers. A fire trail width track that took a while to
ride up, but was super fast on the way down with
jumps! I stuffed one of the jumps up and it threw me a
good 3 feet into the air, biggest yet for me, but as
it was unexpected a quick undie changing stop was
required! If only I could pull air like that when I wanted
too :)

From Black Mountain we rode back onto
Barry Drive and follwed the road back to the
cars.

Great fun, and still so much more to find in there,
we'll be back!

Strange, neither of us had a
crash....mmmm....That's a first!
