This week we'll
head North side for a laugh at the awe
inspiringly
huge hills of Belconnen :) *subtle stab*
But
seriously, the hills of Bruce and Oconner Ridge will be
the
go, with a detour to Gossan Hill.

Descrption
of the ride...
-
Distance: 12.9km
Time: 75
minutes
Grade: Medium
Surface Type: 60% gravel maintenance
tracks, 40% unformed tracks and paths
Map reference:
Canberra Cycleways Map (2nd Edition) pages 7 and
9
Features: A ride along undulating track and pathways
through eucalypt
bushland, with glimpsed views of
North Canberra.
-
Although there is one climb at
the start, it will warm us up for the
ride ahead
which will be mostly easy going and flat, with optional
downhill
shortcuts for the keen! 40% of the ride will
be on smaller tracks
much like some of the ones
last week, hope everyone is cool with
that?

Starting point will be at a small informal parking area on
Dryandra Street,
O'Connor, about 400 metres north from
where the City to Belconnen bike path
crosses
Dryandra Street close to the Macarthur Avenue
roundabout.
(will have my mobile on incase theres problems finding
it)

See you there at 10:30am!!
PS: Let me know your
likes/dislikes about the last ride, the feedback helps
me
choose better ones next time :)
