A boys only stupidty run took Chris and I into
the hellpit that is Isaccs Ridge. A bloody steep and
rocky climb to the top of the South Side of the Ridge
led us to a proper downhill track loaded with jumps,
obstacles and hellish tight turns.
Needless to say
we took them at a snails pace, being the old men
that we are :)
Will have to come back when the
skill set is up as it looked like great
fun.
After the downhill we rode to the top of Omalley Hill
on the North side of the ridge and were met by some
spectacular views over Woden towards Civic. The climbs were
beyond us at times and we ended up walking, but it was
worth it.
The downhill after made the ride up
worth it too, it was huge! A must revisit when we get good
at this MTB thing :)
