This run is so awesome we had to return
again!
This time with Iza, Kyle and Steve, we rode from the
usual start point along the base of the ridge until we
reached the concrete then bitchumen climb. At the top of
the bitchumen we headed left (north) and climbed to
the Trig point atop Omalley.
A short rest and
we split up into silly team and normal team. Neil
and I took the same nasty run as last time opting for
the amazingly stupid right turn half way down and
finding the gully with all the uturns....mad run. Great
fun.
The girls took the firtrails and bitchumen run back
down meeting us at the bootom for a short ride back to
the cars.
A mad place, need good brakes and
turning skills to survive that nasty run....worth it for
the ride of a lifetime :)
