The Perfect Day

The day started with sparking up the 350Z and heading out for a picturesque drive via Point Hut to the Cottor...

While stopping to take this shot of my car, I could hear the roar of a sports car in the distance.
Before I knew it, 4 late model Porches flew buy under full hammer...

Back into the car and off via the Cottor to Conder Creek and Piccadilly Circus, then
onto the bikes to climb Mt Coree...

The crew was Scott, Tim, Drew, myself, and Neil, pictured below trying to release some air from his front shock...
sadly he let it all out turning into dually into a hard-front :)

He pushed on anyway and after a grueling climb, we made the summit,
stepping out onto it is like stepping out on top of the world, the 360' view is awesome!

The descent down was wicked as usual, the downside was a pinch puncture, but the upside was I learned how to double cross up on the numerous water bars... weeeee :)

We rode back to the cars, we're some more fun was to come... cruising away from Condor Creek under a fair but of steam, and in my rear view a big black sports bike came roaring up behind me, he flew past and I thought to myself, I wonder if I can keep up? What a silly thing to try, but why not :) On the straights between East West Rd an Brindabella Rd, he was honking, there was no catching up, but I kept him in sight, but as he turned for the Brindabella Rd twisty section, I started making some ground on him, and by the 3rd corner, the stability battle of car and bike was on, I was on his tail, and his was not impressed at all. When we came up behind an XR6 Turbo Falcon that was out for a flogging, he just flew past them over double yellows without hesitation, not being that game, I waited for a corner, but then I got round the XR6 and got back to catching the bike... from there the bike and I had some fun to the Cottor Bridge, the adrenalin was pumping, the wind howling, oh man, what a winning drive!

Then into Woden for lunch with the family, scollop rissotto, so yummy, and I was so hungry :)

I spent the rest of the afternoon playing Lego Knights with my sons...

are you talking to me....?

I said, are you talking to me?!?

Arrrggg!!! MwuhahHAHA!

And what better to top off this day than a nice nanna nap... I passed out at 4pm in my sons bed with an ear to ear grin :)
Ahhh, life doesn't get much better than this!
